Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester (Java) to support multiple delivery teams by designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks that enhance software quality and accelerate delivery through CI/CD-driven engineering practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on automation expertise, a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Agile project squads. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and reusable automation components. Develop and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and API testing across multiple applications and projects. Perform API automation testing for RESTful services and validate backend integrations. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, DevOps engineers, and product owners to ensure requirements are testable and quality standards are met. Conduct test planning activities including test case design, test data preparation, defect triage, and root cause analysis. Support non-functional validation activities including reliability and basic performance checks where required. Maintain automation documentation including test coverage, execution reporting, and defect tracking. Promote QA best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.
Required Skills & Experience Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5+ years of software testing experience with strong focus on automation testing. Strong programming and scripting expertise in Java.
