Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a seasoned API Automation Testing professional with 6–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation solutions for RESTful services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Selenium, and SQL, along with the ability to drive quality initiatives in Agile environments.
Design and implement API automation frameworks using Rest Assured Automate REST API test cases covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios Validate API responses, request/response payloads, headers, and authentication mechanisms Perform backend/database validation using advanced SQL queries Maintain and enhance UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle) Review automation code and enforce best practices and quality standards Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to understand API designs Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect resolution Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities
