At Chora, we are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to strengthen our Engineering team. You will play a key role in planning, executing and continuously improving test and QA activities across our mission-critical communication solutions used in demanding environments.
This is a position for someone who does not see testing as a final step – but as an integrated, value-creating discipline throughout the entire development lifecycle.
About the Role
You will be responsible for driving test and quality assurance activities in close collaboration with developers and stakeholders across the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
Planning and executing test, release and QA activities based on roadmap and sprint plans
Evaluating and defining test requirements based on upcoming development initiatives
Creating structured test cases covering both core user flows and exploratory scenarios
Specifying and developing automated tests and contributing to test framework improvements
Contributing to general quality assurance in system design and software architecture
Coordinating test activities with stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Support, Sales and Delivery
Supporting ad-hoc test activities when needed
Reporting, tracking and managing software defects and quality issues
Contributing to release management activities and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
Actively participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
Continuously improving test processes, methods and tools
You will have real ownership of the test domain and are expected to challenge existing approaches and drive improvements where needed.

You bring solid hands-on experience and a structured mindset to software testing.
It is a requirement that you
Have at least 3 years of experience in software testing within an agile environment
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
Have practical experience with automated test frameworks and test management tools
Understand how automation and tools can efficiently support and scale the test process
Have experience describing and validating user scenarios
