Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 / year
Role & seniority: Cluster Test Engineer (5+ years post-silicon validation) within AMAX solution engineering
Stack/tools: Linux; Python or Bash scripting; GPU clusters; job schedulers (e.g., Kubernetes); diagnostic/validation infrastructure
Install, monitor, and fine-tune GPUs, job schedulers, and clusters
Define and execute AI/HPC tests and validation for data-center solutions; debug bring-up issues
Contribute to diagnostic generation, validation infrastructure, and customer support for compute builds/workloads
5+ years post-silicon validation for system/cluster products
Proficient Linux; strong debugging; scripting in Python or Bash from scratch
Experience with Kubernetes or similar job schedulers; excellent troubleshooting and communication; independent, proactive
Prior experience with AI/HPC test methodologies; exposure to hardware/software bring-up phases; experience building validation infrastructure

We are looking for a Cluster Test Engineer to join the AMAX solution engineering group for computing solution development, validation, deployment, and support. This is a extremely hands-on role. With hardware and software expertise, you will explore and address technical challenges and ensure the success of the solution launch and deployment.
Install, monitor, and fine-turn GPU, job schedulers, and clusters Define and implement AI and HPC tests and validation for data center solutions. Investigate and introduce new test technology and methodology to improve solution robustness. Debug complex hardware and software issues during solution bring-up phases. Contribute to diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure. Support customers on the compute infrastructure build-up and workload implementation and validation
Requirements
5 + years of experience with post-silicon validation experience in system and cluster products. Proficient in Linux operating systems and strong debugging skills Ability to write Python programming or bash scripting from scratch Experience with job schedulers such as Kubernetes Excellent trouble-shooting and communication skills is a must Must be proactive and work independently with little or no guidance Bachelor's degree in related field
Salary range offered for this position is between 110,000-130,000 annually. This may be subject to change based on the candidate's experience level and and skill set.
