About the Role Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality. - Utilize automated testing tools to increase test coverage and efficiency. - Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback. - Conduct thorough testing of applications and systems to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications. - Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment on testing strategies and methodologies. - Report and track defects using issue tracking tools and ensure timely resolution. - Participate in code reviews and provide input on testing strategies and approaches. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies. - Understand and incorporate insurance-specific regulations and compliance requirements into testing processes. Skills Required: - Extensive experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing. - Strong understanding of API testing and experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar. - Proficient in .NET development and familiar with .NET frameworks and libraries. Support testing in Windows Server application, and the container app in the future. - Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL for testing purposes, familiar with MS SQL Server. - Ability to design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and stakeholders. - Ability to identify and report defects effectively and follow up to ensure issues are resolved. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Continuous learning and adaptation to new testing methodologies and technologies. - Experience in UI automation testing and the insurance industry is a plus.
