- Quality Assurance Technician
Receiving and Verification: Check incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists. Verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation for accuracy.
Visual Inspection: Perform visual examinations of materials or components for obvious damage, defects, or non-conformities.
Dimensional and Functional Inspection: Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensional accuracy. Conduct specified tests or functional checks based on inspection criteria.
Documentation and Reporting: Record inspection results accurately. Report any discrepancies, non-conforming materials, or supplier quality issues. Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) or Quality Alerts as necessary.
Coordination: Communicate with purchasing, quality assurance, and suppliers regarding quality issues. Facilitate material quarantine or return procedures for rejected items.
Maintain Inspection Area: Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and maintained.
