Role Description
Inspection & Testing: Examine products and materials (raw, in-process, finished) for defects, using tools like calipers, gauges, or software.
Documentation: Record test data, prepare inspection reports, and maintain detailed documentation of, re-works, and waste.
Compliance: Ensure production adheres to industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Reporting & Action: Report issues to management and quarantine defective products to prevent shipment.
Process Improvement: Recommend adjustments to manufacturing processes to reduce defects.
