Role & seniority: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Stack/tools: SQL (intermediate–advanced); Microsoft-based products; defect tracking; test planning/matrices; automated regression tooling; familiarity with client/server and n-tier architectures; experience with waterfall and Agile; Guidewire (preferred) systems a plus.
Develop, execute, and document test plans and test cases; identify, document, and report defects; organize testing results and produce management reports.
Lead QA activities, collaborate with project management, developers, and customers; mentor QA testers/analysts and guide complex testing scenarios.
Provide status updates, QA recommendations, and improvements to methodologies and test environments; create test matrices, closure reports, and ensure changes meet standards.
Minimum five years of hands-on QA experience
Ability to work independently and lead projects
Strong defect analysis, reporting, and tracking; critical thinking on defects, risks, and actions
Experience evaluating requirements to develop test plans; ability to communicate with stakeholders
Proficiency with SQL and MS-based technologies; familiarity with QA methodologies in a high-tech environment
Experience testing Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
Agile methodology familiarity
Property and casualty insurance domain knowledge
