Responsibilities

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain robust manual and automated test cases for insurance web applications Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios covering critical insurance workflows across policy, billing, claims, and reporting systems Execute manual, regression, smoke, and sanity testing to ensure application stability and quality Collaborate closely with development, QA, data, and business teams to identify, track, and resolve defects Analyze test results, ensure adequate coverage of business-critical scenarios, and continuously improve testing effectiveness Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, test utilities, documentation, execution reports, and defect metrics

Required Skill

Strong experience in automation testing using JavaScript and TypeScript Hands-on expertise in Quality Assurance for enterprise web applications and APIs Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts including policy lifecycle, rating, billing, claims, and underwriting Guidewire Analyst Certification is mandatory Working knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques Experience integrating automated tests with CI CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field Three to six years of experience in automation testing and QA, preferably within the insurance domain

Desired Skill

Experience working with Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter Exposure to ETL validation and downstream reporting processes Awareness of reporting and data tools including SSIS, SSRS, and Crystal Reports Experience with cloud-based insurance platforms Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools
