Why You’ll Love This Role As a Test Analyst in our International Applications Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Claims Platforms, which support operations across Australia. With a growing QA function, opportunities for career progression, and a modernization journey underway, this role offers the chance to directly influence testing practices and make a real impact. You’ll be supported by a team of Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Application Support Specialists, meaning there are also clear development pathways available for you with GB. How you'll make an impact
Designing comprehensive test cases across functional, non‑functional, and edge scenarios. Executing manual test cases and maintaining detailed testing documentation. Reviewing requirements and user stories to identify gaps and shape test scope. Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects with clarity and accuracy. Performing regression testing to ensure stable and reliable platform performance. Collaborating closely with Developers, BAs, Project Managers, and Application Support teams. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives as we modernize our testing frameworks.
About you
Prior experience in manual functional testing. Eligibility for Australian Baseline Security Clearance. Strong understanding of QA in the SDLC with experience in Agile/Lean environments. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and CI systems. Is proactive, self‑driven, and doesn’t wait for work to come to you. You seek clarity, ask questions, and continually improve. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise work in a fast‑moving environment. Tertiary qualifications or certifications in software development/testing, and experience in financial services or claims management systems will be ideal however not essential Australian Citizenship, to be able to satisfy employment eligibility requirements which include obtaining a Commonwealth Security Clearance.
