Job Description & Primary Skills Required

• As a Senior Performance Test Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring our applications meet high-performance standards. You will work closely with development and testing teams to identify performance bottlenecks, develop testing strategies, and implement solutions. Your expertise in JMeter and preferably k6, along with a solid understanding of Java, JavaScript, and .NET applications, will be crucial in this role. Understanding of API endpoints and API testing a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests using JMeter and k6.
• Conduct performance testing of .NET applications with a strong focus on API testing.
• Analyze performance test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and frameworks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer, with a strong focus on JMeter and preferably k6.
• Proficient in performance testing .NET applications and APIs.
• Solid understanding of Java and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools is a plus.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus is a plus
