Role & seniority: Lead/Senior Performance Tester responsible for performance and non-functional testing across critical trading platforms.
Stack/tools: k6 and JavaScript-based test scripting; APIs; C#/.NET applications; AWS; CI/CD pipelines; containerised environments; monitoring tools; cloud-native deployments.
Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests; build and maintain reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts.
Analyze results to identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure; partner with developers to diagnose issues and validate improvements.
Define/monitor performance KPIs and non-functional requirements; produce clear, actionable performance reports; support capacity planning and continuous improvement; integrate testing into CI/CD.
Strong experience in performance and non-functional testing.
Hands-on with k6 and JavaScript-based test scripting.
Experience testing C#/.NET applications; APIs.
Solid understanding of AWS and distributed systems; ability to analyze latency, throughput, and error rates.
Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD; familiarity with containerised environments.
Experience with monitoring tools and high-throughput systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and scalable tech stacks.
