Role & seniority: Software Tester (embedded within cross-functional agile teams); seniority mid-level with leadership through example.

Write, review, and execute comprehensive test cases, data, and plans; ensure automated tests accompany features.
Evolve QA processes and lead by example in software testing; collaborate with product, development, delivery, and client teams on QA for releases.
Analyze test results, document/escalate issues, participate in story estimation, and support delivery across work streams.
3+ years of testing experience (cross-browser/device)
Strong feature testing; hands-on with Playwright
Experience with automation tools, JIRA, and browser DevTools
Knowledge of web/app architectures, Agile; familiarity with Bitbucket/Git
Experience mentoring or sharing knowledge with colleagues
Strong written and verbal communication for complex reports to senior management

About the job We are looking for a software tester who will be embedded within one of our cross-functional software teams. This person will be responsible for doing the teams functional testing and building out their automated framework and test cases from scratch in order to support the build of new products on a rapidly growing betting platform. This is a permanent career opportunity with hybrid working available.

About the Job Write, review and execute comprehensive test cases, test data and test plans against defined Test Strategies. Evolve formal QA processes, ensuring continued use of industry-accepted best practices. Interact with product management, development and delivery teams to ensure appropriate automated tests are delivered with every feature. Interact with client delivery teams, acting as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases. Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases. Lead by example in all areas of software testing. Work alongside business analysts, development teams and senior management to ensure all key deliverable requirements are met. Analyse test results and document, track and escalate issues as appropriate. Participate in story estimation for test specifications and execution for all work streams.
