Responsibilities

FX QA Test Lead to support a time-sensitive remediation program for back-office FX trading systems.

Must have strong Capital Markets domain knowledge, particularly FX trading concepts and trade lifecycle events, as the team cannot accommodate long ramp-up/training for trading fundamentals.

This is not a purely managerial QA role; we need a technical QA Lead who can personally drive test strategy, execution, and automation improvements while guiding a QA team.

Lead QA testing for remediation of back-office FX platforms.

Own test strategy, test planning, and execution governance.

Drive end-to-end testing lifecycle: SIT/UAT support, regression, integration testing.

Perform deep data validation using SQL (joins, functions, reconciliation, slicing/dicing datasets).

Identify and resolve quality risks proactively; troubleshoot issues independently.

Communicate test status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders across business/technology.

Mentor and guide manual + automation QA resources.

Improve automation coverage and accelerate regression cycles.

Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD-based test execution.

Required Skills

Must have Capital Markets / Financial Services experience. Strong understanding of FX trading concepts.

Trade lifecycle events, validations, settlements, confirmations, back-office flows.

SQL (Expert Level, Hands-On): Complex joins, multi-table validations, aggregations, functions, reconciliations.

Programming/Scripting: preferred, Java or Python

Databases: Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, strong understanding of relational data structures.

Strong automation background with ability to optimize and speed up testing.
