This role is ideal for someone who excels at breaking down complex workflows into precise test plans, executing structured certification cycles, and ensuring every release is fully validated across client and liquidity‑provider integrations.
Responsibilities
Core QA & System Validation
Test and certify releases across multiple large-scale FlexFX components, ensuring all features meet quality, performance, and reliability standards before production rollout. Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive run books covering testing workflows, validation steps, and full end‑to‑end scenarios for FX trading. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across distributed, low‑latency systems. Write, maintain, and enhance automation scripts to improve test efficiency and expand regression coverage. Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams to provide clear, actionable feedback and drive continuous product stability improvements.
Counterparty Certification & Integration Testing
Lead counterparty certification cycles with global FX liquidity providers, ECNs, and banks—ensuring all FIX and API workflows meet required standards. Validate order lifecycle behavior, including quoting, execution, fills, cancels, allocations, and drop‑copy behaviors across each counterparty. Coordinate with brokers and external counterparties to troubleshoot FIX and workflow discrepancies, ensuring all issues are captured, documented, and resolved. Maintain detailed certification documentation, test matrices, and approval records for each integration. Ensure FlexFX remains compliant with each counterparty’s evolving certification requirements, workflows, and protocol expectations. Support internal and external teams during new client onboarding by validating counterparty behavior and confirming workflow readiness.
Documentation & Process Ownership
Produce clear run books, workflow diagrams, and testing playbooks for internal teams and client‑facing groups. Continuously improve and expand test coverage by identifying workflow gaps, edge cases, and system resiliency scenarios. Own QA sign‑off and release certification responsibilities.
Required Skills
3+ years of Quality Assurance experience, ideally in large‑scale, distributed, or real‑time systems. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and workflow validation. Hands‑on experience conducting counterparty certifications (banks, ECNs, liquidity providers) for FIX or API trading workflows. Ability to write and maintain automation scripts (Python, C++, or equivalent). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment tooling. Experience with writing clear, concise run books and test documentation. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills for delivering feedback across internal and external teams. Detail‑oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Desirable Skills
Experience with the FIX protocol, FX trading workflows, or execution/OMS systems. Exposure to low‑latency or high‑throughput financial applications. Understanding of order routing, market data, price streams, and trade capture. Prior experience collaborating with liquidity providers, banks, ECNs, and market‑making firms.
