Location & work type: Not specified in description; on-site work and collaboration with multiple engineering teams implied.
Test Execution and Debugging Execute established test procedures on various hardware components and systems (e.g., PCBs, embedded systems, prototypes) following detailed instructions. Monitor tests at internal and external labs to ensure they are running correctly and capture relevant data. Perform initial debugging and failure analysis of test setup to identify the root cause of hardware and/or software anomalies encountered during testing. Utilize standard lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) to probe, measure, and troubleshoot issues. Perform mechanical test setup using aluminum extrusion, hand tools, typical scrappy test setup techniques to ensure tests are executed properly. Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze test data and results to confirm product performance against specified requirements. Document and log defects/bugs with organized and meticulous notes using internal tracking systems, including steps to reproduce, observed behavior, and system configuration. Prepare clear, concise, and accurate test reports summarizing the test progress, execution status, and key findings. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Design, Firmware, and Mechanical Engineering) to discuss test results and potential issues.
