The role of the engineer will be to help validate Security functionality on a new system-on-chip (SOC) for Qualcomm’s Embedded RTOS based solutions/platforms.
Right candidate shall be required to design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Role would entail troubleshooting and resolving system issues ranging across components in the overall chip’s architecture.
The engineer will take ownership of a component of a project and will be responsible for validating the software on a timescale agreed with the group leader/program manager. The engineer should be able to work with minimal supervision.
Skills Expectations
Excellent C and Python programming skills, with proven experience in developing test software to validate product use cases at system and feature test levels Extensive on-chip application validation experience, with a strong understanding of the chip development life cycle, and exposure to SoCs, peripherals, and embedded environments
