This role works closely with development, architecture, DevOps, and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks and deliver optimization recommendations that align with business performance objectives and SLAs
Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies to ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of enterprise applications and systems. Design and implement end-to-end performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6. Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Dynatrace, DataDog, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or similar platforms. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to development and operations teams. Collaborate with architects and developers to optimize application performance Define, document, and track performance benchmarks and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Integrate and automate performance testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices. Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support production performance monitoring and incident analysis when required.
Atleast 6+ Years of relevant work experience as Senior Performance test or in a similar role Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Atleast 6+ Years of relevant work experience in software performance engineering and software performance testing Strong hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6). Experience with APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, DataDog, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or similar. Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud environments, and distributed systems. Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). Solid understanding of databases, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure performance tuning. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
