About the Job We are looking for a Performance Automation QA Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, scripting, and executing performance tests for scalable applications. The ideal candidate is someone who writes performance scripts regularly, is comfortable discussing and demonstrating performance testing approaches in interviews, and works closely with development and DevOps teams in an Agile environment
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests
Create and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter or LoadRunner
Perform end-to-end performance testing for APIs, web, and backend systems
Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Monitor application performance using APM tools and analyze bottlenecks
Execute performance tests in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Analyze test results, identify performance issues, and provide actionable insights
Validate backend performance using SQL queries and API automation
Collaborate with Developers, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum setup
Participate in design reviews and provide performance recommendations early in the SDLC
Ensure performance benchmarks and SLAs are met across releases
Required Skills
2–5 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing
Strong expertise in JMeter or LoadRunner (must be hands-on, not just conceptual)
Regular experience in performance scripting as part of daily work
Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.)
Experience integrating tests with Jenkins / CI pipelines
Working knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred)
Experience with SQL queries and API performance testing
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum development processes
Comfortable writing and explaining performance test scripts during interviews
Nice to have
