Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing, including the ability to test web and mobile applications. They should be proficient in both functional and non-functional testing methods, ensuring the software meets all requirements and performs optimally.
Key Responsibilities
Test software applications for web and mobile platforms to identify bugs, errors, and areas for improvement. Develop and execute functional and non-functional testing plans to ensure the software meets all requirements. Contribute to data collection efforts, analyzing and interpreting results to inform testing strategies and improve software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and develop testing strategies. Stay updated on the latest testing tools and technologies, including DevOps knowledge, to set up Dockers, handle deployments, and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software testing, including web and mobile applications. Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing methods. Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with Docker and deployment. Demonstrated interest in sports and ability to contribute to data collection efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms. Experience with performance testing and load testing. Experience with security testing and penetration testing.
