The Opportunity As part of the ETL Policy Conversion QA team, you will play a critical role in validating legacy-to-Guidewire data migration programs for global insurance clients. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, policy lifecycle accuracy, and end-to-end reconciliation during migration to Guidewire Policy Center. You will analyze complex data transformation scenarios, validate policy transactions (Submission, Renewal, Policy Change, Cancellation, Reinstatement), mentor junior team members, and uphold high-quality delivery standards in large-scale migration engagements. Responsibilities ● Perform QA validation for legacy-to-Guidewire PolicyCenter migration projects (PMT based conversions). ● Validate end-to-end migration execution in cloud environments including: Database Input/Output Interfaces Payload loading via Data Upload Tool (DUT) Batch process execution Work Queue processing Migration status validation ● Conduct detailed data validation of Entity Payloads including parent-child relationships, foreign keys, typelists, and transformation rules. ● Leverage Guidewire Data Dictionary to validate entity definitions, field attributes, typelists, foreign keys, and schema alignment. ● Execute SQL-based validation across staging databases, migration interface schemas, and Guidewire application databases. ● Review and validate Source-to-Target Mapping documents (Entities, Typelists, Data Types, Business Rules, Transformation Logic). ● Perform policy lifecycle validation for converted policies including: Submissions Renewals Policy Changes Cancellations Reinstatements Audits (if applicable) ● Validate product model synchronization and policy term sequencing during historical migrations. ● Perform reconciliation between input payload data and migrated PolicyCenter records to ensure data completeness and accuracy. ● Support defect triaging by performing root cause analysis and collaborating with ETL, Development, and Business teams. ● Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives). ● Prepare QA test strategies, test cases, test scenarios, and summary reports for stakeholders. ● Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives. What You Must Have Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred) 4 to 8 years of experience in QA, Data Validation, or ETL Testing Hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA and BillingCenter QA Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, subqueries, data comparison queries) Experience in Data Migration / ETL Testing projects Strong understanding of insurance domain (Property & Casualty preferred) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Excellent oral and written English communication skills What Sets You Apart · Strong knowledge of Guidewire Property & Casualty Insurance products (PolicyCenter preferred). · Experience validating migration frameworks such as: Policy Migration Tool (PMT) Work Queues & Batch Processing Policy Conversion In GW Cloud · Understanding of key migration concepts such as Payload ID, Payload Grouping, Migration Idempotency, and Reconciliation Reporting. · Experience validating EffDated entities and historical transaction sequencing. · Ability to analyze data anomalies and provide insights during data mapping workshops. · Experience handling large datasets and performing reconciliation using SQL and Excel. · Familiarity with database schemas such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. · Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. · Ability to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and client stakeholders Travel Requirements Not Specified Job Posting End Date Are you ready to make a difference?
