The GTIS Algorithm and Software Engineering Team is seeking a talented and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our automotive software products, particularly those developed using the Simulink platform. What You'll Do You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software applications. You need to utilize Simulink expertise to create test models and leverage Model-Based Design for testing. You need to collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies. You need to implement automate test execution using scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and testing frameworks. You need to Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools You need to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality. You need to stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools relevant to the automotive industry. What We're Looking For You with bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). You with minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive industry. You are experienced with Simulink model development and code verification using static analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace) and unit testing methodologies. You with proven ability to leverage static analysis tools to improve unit test coverage and code quality for Simulink models. You with experience using a combination of static analysis and unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of automotive software (developed in Simulink). You have familiarity with automotive software development processes (e.g., V-model, Agile). You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
