State: Remote Job Description Nuclear Quality Assurance System (QAS) Specialist to support the development, documentation, and implementation of nuclear compliant quality assurance system across client key engineering and manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
The scope includes authoring quality procedures, work instructions, role definitions, qualification matrices, and test protocols tailored to client operational needs. Travel to client sites is required Review existing QMS systems and perform Gap Analysis to meet NQAS Training of client personnel in duties and responsibilities of Nuclear QAS
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead audit in review of client site Review of auditor reports No direct reports at this time
Skills
Ability to work independently with minimal management Ability to communicate clearly through written, verbal, and personal interaction Excellent competency in standard computer Office software (operation, formatting, integration)
Competencies
Thorough understanding of ASME Codes, ASME NQA-1, and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B (Quality Assurance Criteria) and 10 CFR Part 21 (Reporting of Defects) Thorough understanding of standard report formatting, manual formatting Nuclear audit procedures
Education
Authorized Inspector with minimum of N endorsement, NS preferred, or equivalent ASME NQA-1 experience
