Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks (Tosca and alternatives)

Translate P&C insurance requirements into automated test strategies; execute functional, regression, integration, API, and accessibility tests

Collaborate with BAs, developers, and product owners; mentor junior QA engineers; integrate tests into CI/CD; analyze results and drive quality improvements
Must-have skills

3–5 years software testing experience, including test automation (P&C insurance domain preferred)

Proficiency with Tosca, Selenium/Playwright/Cypress; SQL for backend tests

- Responsibilities
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions. This role requires a deeper understanding of automation frameworks and the ability to lead testing efforts for complex features and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks using Tricentis Tosca and other tools.
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to P&C insurance systems and translate them into effective automated test strategies and plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API testing, accessibility testing across web and backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Execute automated test cases, log defects, and track them to closure using Azure DevOps.
- Develop automated tests for APIs, UI, and backend systems.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across QA teams.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the P&C insurance domain
- 3–5 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in automation tools including Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend/database testing.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong understanding of Agile QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary Range
- $56,000.00 - $130,000.00
- The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
