Role & seniority: Space Force Test Engineer for SDA (mid- to senior-level) at General Dynamics Mission Systems
Stack/tools: Proficient in object-oriented programming, system processes, scripting; Linux expertise; experience testing satellite or ground systems
Perform software integration, requirement analysis, and development of technical documentation
Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and develop specifications/procedures across the engineering lifecycle
Apply test engineering concepts to support integration and verification in cyber, RF, and space domains
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years
Proficient programming, scripting, and Linux
Experience testing satellite or ground systems; ability to rapidly grasp new information
Security clearance (Department of Defense Secret preferred at hire)

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
