Overview Responsible for test creation, testing a large module or a large component, and designing a solution test plan for a related feature, set of features, or whole feature area. Own tasks and projects to deliver quality engineering artifacts. Manage deliverables and mentor junior team members. Drive initiatives, including defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced. Appropriately reuse existing code wherever possible. Coach developers to improve code quality. Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams. Determine testing best practices and principals and promote them across the organization. Serve as an expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases. Develop code for training purposes. Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process. Work with team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Provide functional and technical expertise in bug fixes. serve as an expert in the quality engineering. Manage test plans and testing methodology for software projects. Use appropriate test automation techniques (data driven, pairwise, mocking, test hooks) to address problems. Serve as a testing and domain expert for workforce management. Duties & Responsibilities Skills Required Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related software quality occupation required. The position also requires: 5 years of experience with web application testing and defect reporting; 3 years of experience with testing tools, including Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Postman, JMeter, and ReadyAPI; 3 years of experience with languages, including C#, Java, and Ruby; 3 years of experience testing web services (REST, SOAP); 3 years of experience with test management tools, including Azure DevOps or Zephyr.
