Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and take strong ownership of quality across the SDLC. The ideal candidate can quickly understand complex business processes, design strong test scenarios, and build/scale automation to support frequent releases and customer success. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks; write clean, reusable, maintainable test and utility code. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable continuous testing. Perform UI, API, integration, and regression testing (manual and automated) and analyze results. Understand system specifications and translate business requirements into robust test scenarios, cases, and scripts. Provide test effort and resource estimates to support planning and prioritization. Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to improve code quality, testability, and overall product quality. Identify, log, track, and drive resolution of defects; JIRA knowledge is an advantage. Assist development teams with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Plan and execute regression, post-release, and post-implementation testing. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Demonstrate flexibility to occasionally work within tight deadlines. Ensure successful production implementation with end-to-end ownership. Ensure customer success, including delivering fixes/patches as needed. Learn/adopt additional automation tools as required and implement automation during the project. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong programming skills in Java (preferred) / Python / JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Selenium and modern automation practices (e.g., BDD, Cucumber). Solid knowledge of API testing and CI/CD tools/pipelines. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and testing methodologies (test strategy, design, execution, defect lifecycle). Ability to work independently with high ownership and minimal supervision. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Windsurf and Quantexa (where applicable).
