Role & seniority: Senior/Lead Test Engineer (9+ years experience; Bachelor's in engineering)
Stack/tools: test instrumentation (electrical/mechanical), data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high-speed cameras; test planning, procedures, readiness reviews, and reporting
Plan, coordinate, and schedule test/evaluation activities to meet requirements and quality standards
Prepare/review test plans, procedures, readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests
Support data collection (setup/operation of instrumentation), conduct rapid post-test analysis, and provide debriefs to engineering and customers
Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities; excellent verbal/written communication; good organizational skills
Experience with test planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting
Ability to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance (Active Secret preferred)
Prior experience with electrical/mechanical test instrumentation
Location & work type: Permanent, onsite in Wilmington, MA; 10–15% travel; full onsite work environment
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and schedule test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests Support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation Support test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition and analysis Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills 10 - 15% Travel
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 9+ years related experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $126000.00 - $193000.00/yr.
