Role & seniority: QA / Test Engineer, 5+ years experience; 18-month contract within a global organisation.
Stack/tools: Manual and automated testing; Jira, Git; API testing; backend services and web UIs; SQL for data validation; experience with AWS, test automation and trading platforms is a plus.
Design and plan test approaches, data, and environments; create and execute test plans and scripts with strong functional coverage.
Log, analyze, and track defects; partner with developers to investigate issues and drive quality improvements; produce clear test status and completion reports.
Perform usability and non-functional testing (performance, reliability, scalability, security); coordinate testing schedules and contribute to continuous improvement.
5+ years in QA/Test Engineering on medium to large IT projects; strong manual testing in financial services.
Experience with Jira, Git, API testing; testing across backend services and web UIs; strong SQL for data validation.
Agile/fast-release environment experience; ability to own problems end-to-end.
