Role & seniority: Intermediate to senior Test Engineer (Platform Team) focusing on backend testing during platform modernisation and stabilisation.
Stack/tools: Backend testing (containers, deployments, APIs, authentication, access tokens); functional, non-functional, regression, security testing; DevOps/CI-CD; testing tools (JMeter, Postman); familiarity with C#/.Net beneficial.
Execute backend testing across libraries and services with emphasis on automation where feasible (approx. 60% manual / 40% automation).
Contribute to platform modernisation and stabilisation initiatives; validate cloud platform solutions.
Develop clear test plans, test cases, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and security.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with backend testing areas (containers, deployments, APIs, authentication, security).
Experience with functional, non-functional, regression testing; familiarity with CI/CD.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and clear documentation (test plans/cases).
Experience with JMeter, Postman or similar tools.
Exposure to C# / .Net.

We're looking for an intermediate to senior Test Engineer to join our Platform Team, with a key focus on our platform modernisation and stabilisation initiatives.
You'll predominantly be involved in technical, backend testing, with an approximate 60% manual / 40% automation split. The work is almost entirely focused on backend libraries and services, with no front-end testing involved.
This is an ideal role for an experienced tester with an interest in cloud platform solutions, who is looking to further develop their automation testing experience.

Requirements
A variety of backend testing with a focus on containers, deployments, APIs, authentication, access tokens etc.. We need experience in functional, non-functional, regression and security Familiar with modern coding standards/practices and DevOps, CI/CD pipelines Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with testing tools like JMeter, Postman, or other similar tools would be advantageous Exposure to C# / .Net would be beneficial Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
