We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a highly skilled team of professionals who are committed to quality and excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvements, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the organization. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about engineering, enjoys problem-solving, and is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Lead and coordinate activities required to meet quality standards including IATF 16949. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and eliminate recurring issues, thereby improving the overall quality of products. Develop and implement Corrective Actions to address quality issues and prevent their recurrence. Champion the use of Kaizen, 5S, and other Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvement within the organization. Maintain the Document Control system, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained at all stages of the product lifecycle. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Analyze performance data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably in the Engineering industry. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Kaizen, 5S, and Document Control. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification will be an added advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.
