Validate software baseline via regression tests; provide quality verdict on deliverables
Execute alpha tests on new software packages; report issues and write test reports
Propose process/tooling improvements; maintain test systems; drive automation and cross-product test integration
Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or IT
5+ years as a Software Tester in a complex software environment
ISTQB Advanced certification
Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Polarion

The System Test Engineer is a key participant in the system level test process and provides important input to the product release decision making process.
Software baseline validation · Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline · Quality check of the project deliverables · Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability · Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance) · Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables Execute the alpha test of new software packages · Execute alpha tests · Report issues · Write test reports, submit issue tickets Process improvement · Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary · Test automation · Test system maintenance · Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed
