Role & seniority: Senior System Test Engineer (software system level testing)
Stack/tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Polarion; manual and automated testing; CI/CD; test automation; security testing; integration across products
Conduct baseline regression testing and alpha testing; document issues; prepare test reports and issue tickets; provide quality verdict on deliverables
Review requirements for testability; participate in project test reports and process conformance; accept/reject software releases
Drive process and tooling improvements; maintain test environments and automate where applicable; ensure test systems are healthy
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/IT
5+ years as a software tester in a complex software environment (senior level)
ISTQB Advanced certification
Proficiency in manual and automated testing
Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Polarion
Experience with test automation, security testing, CI/CD, and cross-product test process integration
Experience in Agile/Kanban contexts
Additional test automation tooling experience and scripting

Software baseline validation · Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline · Quality check of the project deliverables · Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability · Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance) · Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables Execute the alpha test of new software packages · Execute alpha tests · Report issues · Write test reports, submit issue tickets Process improvement · Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary · Test automation · Test system maintenance · Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed
