Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Automation Engineer to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of network automation solutions within Cisco-based data center and enterprise network environments.
This role requires solid technical proficiency in automation technologies, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high availability, performance, and operational efficiency across automated network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Network Automation & Orchestration
Implement, configure, and support network automation and orchestration platforms, primarily Cisco solutions such as
Cisco NSO
ThousandEyes
Cisco MANO
Cisco EPNM
Cisco CNC
Cisco SPIS
AppDynamics
Splunk (development and integration)
Develop and enhance automation workflows, scripts, and APIs to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks.
Support integration initiatives to ensure seamless interoperability between automation platforms and existing infrastructure.
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
Provide Level 2 technical support for automation platforms and associated network infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to vendors when required.
Perform routine maintenance, system validation, upgrades, and patching.
Monitor network performance and availability using automation and observability tools.
Analyze operational data and proactively identify potential risks or performance bottlenecks.
Observability & Log Management
Support log management, observability, and operational analytics in large-scale environments.
Integrate Splunk with network devices, automation platforms, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
