What we are looking for

Role: Quality Assurance Lead Kenverse is building AI-native SaaS platforms powered by modern cloud infrastructure, agentic AI, and scalable architectures. We are looking for a QA Lead who will drive quality engineering strategy, build scalable automation practices, and establish strong quality governance across products. This role goes beyond testing-you will shape how quality is engineered into our platforms from design to release.

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Experience Required: 10+ years

What you’ll do

• Quality Strategy & Leadership
• Define and own the overall QA strategy across Kenverse products and platforms.
• Establish automation-first testing practices aligned with engineering and DevOps workflows.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing QA team across manual and automation testing.
• Drive shift-left testing practices and embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
• Act as the quality champion across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Automation & Framework Ownership

Architect and oversee scalable automation frameworks using

• Selenium (Java) for web applications
• Appium for mobile automation (Android & iOS)
• API automation using Postman/Newman or equivalent tools
• Ensure high automation coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Define automation standards, reusable components, and coding best practices.
• End-to-End Quality Governance
• Define test strategies, quality gates, release readiness criteria, and risk assessments.
• Establish metrics-driven quality dashboards (defect leakage, coverage, release health).
• Drive performance, scalability, and reliability testing initiatives.
• Ensure consistent testing practices across multiple product teams.
• DevOps & Continuous Testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Enable continuous testing aligned with microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on environment stability and release automation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads during requirement definition and solution design.
• Participate in architecture discussions to ensure testability and scalability.
• Provide executive-level visibility into product quality, risks, and release confidence.
• Process & Quality Improvement
• Drive adoption of best practices across STLC, SDLC, and Agile delivery models.

Introduce modern QA practices such as

• Risk-based testing
• Test data management
• Contract testing
• Observability-driven validation
• Continuously improve testing efficiency and release velocity.

Our Ideal Candidate

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• Proven experience leading QA teams in SaaS or enterprise product environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in

• Selenium (Java) automation frameworks

• Appium mobile automation

• API testing using Postman or equivalent tools

Deep understanding of

• SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management

• Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Test strategy and release governance

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Good to have

• Experience with large-scale multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and asynchronous integrations.
• Knowledge of security testing concepts (OAuth, JWT, API security).
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, ELK, or Datadog.
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications or intelligent automation testing.
• Experience in EdTech or enterprise platforms.
