Job Description
Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 114,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration, and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products, and services. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas.
You will be the RF Seeker Integration Lead at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, steering the end to end integration of the RF seeker into a major franchise program at our Grand Prairie, TX site.
Your team will build and test three RF seekers, develop HWIL/Sensor HWIL test strategies, and validate hardware software integration across multiple disciplines, culminating in an attitude control motor (ACM) compatibility testing at White Sands Missile Range.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Seeker Integration Lead you will own the hardware and System Integration and Test effort for the remainder of the RF Seeker Demo Program. You will design and execute test rigs, manage traceability and test pedigree for two flight capable seekers, and coordinate cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and on time delivery.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Lead the build, integration, and verification of three RF seekers. Develop and execute HWIL and Sensor HWIL test plans, including ACM compatibility tests at White Sands Missile Range. Design, assemble, and troubleshoot analog/digital test rigs using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power analyzers. Integrate sensor packages, RF subsystems, and power distribution units into the seeker architecture. Interface firmware, real time operating systems (RTOS), and middleware with the seeker hardware. Manage interface control documents (ICDs) and maintain requirements traceability across the program. Lead cross functional teams, drive schedule and risk reviews, and report status to senior leadership. Ensure test pedigree and traceability for two seekers that may fly in the demonstration flight test. Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge transfer throughout the integration effort. Candidates must be willing and able to adjust work hours during major mission success test events, critical failure analysis, test readiness preparation, or when emergency situations demand work hours outside the traditional 9/80 schedule.
