As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank's Markets Tech Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, backend and API applications.
- Collaborate with cross functional and business teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation script, framework and process.
- Work with Developers, BA and Product team to identify and address bugs and inconsistencies in software.
- Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Be proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies .

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- 3+ years of experience in software testing.
- Experience of open-source User Interface (UI) test tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Play wright etc.
- Strong understanding of any programming language like Java and Python, Java Script.
- Writing test automation scripts using BDD Tools - Cucumber, Spec flow, Gherkin etc.
- Experience of API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc.
- Support and evolve CI/CD Platform for continuous testing.
- Experience in performance test execution like JMeter.
- Hands on experience on Git /Gitlab runners /equivalent.
