Role & seniority: ADAS Test Engineering Assistant, full-time; early-career/Entry-level on ADAS group
Stack/tools: ADAS/ECU understanding; instrumentation and wiring; vehicle electrical systems; ADAS sensors (cameras, LiDAR, Radar, GPS); bench testing and test equipment; test processes and reporting
Develop test strategy, plan and coordinate test routes/methodologies for ADAS feature performance
Design, execute and evaluate tests of ADAS features; prepare test cases and validate results
Report and present testing results to standards and customers; instrument, integrate and troubleshoot systems; support customer discussions; travel as required
Pursuing BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
Knowledge of ADAS and AD ECU; experience in ADAS vehicle and bench testing
Experience in test evaluation/validation, test case preparation, equipment integration; adherence to quality standards
Ability to work on multiple projects for 6+ months; willingness to travel
Pursuing MS in relevant engineering fields
Experience with instrumentation, ADAS sensor integration and testing

Description FEV North America, Inc., is seeking a qualified ADAS Test Engineering Assistant to join our ADAS/AD group as a full-time employee. At FEV, ADAS Test Engineering Assistants are an integral part of a variety of interesting and challenging projects regarding evaluation of vehicle and pedestrian safety. FEV provides individuals with an exceptional opportunity to experience state-of-the-art technology and be on the forefront of innovation and safety technology testing. A FEV ADAS Test Engineering Assistant supports the development, integration, testing and performance evaluation of ADAS features in project vehicles, and utilizes their technical skills to validate and present solutions for ADAS/AD programs. Expect hands-on work experience working with the project vehicles, following multiple processes in variable test environments for ADAS performance evaluation. The ADAS Test Engineering Assistant will simultaneously be involved in multiple projects as well as having direct interaction with customers.
