Analyze requirements, user stories, workflows to design effective test scenarios
Develop detailed test cases, prepare test data, execute tests, document results, and log defects
Provide regular reports on test case development, execution status, defect trends; maintain/regress testing suite

Must-have skills

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field
2–6 years in software testing/QA; strong SDLC/STLC understanding; test design, execution, defect management
Ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios; strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with test management/defect tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest)

Nice-to-haves

Experience with regression testing strategies and test automation exposure
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum; knowledge of financial services/transaction workflows
SQL data-validation exposure

We are currently seeking a Business Consulting- UAT Junior Testing Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, user stories, features, business workflows, and transaction flows to design effective test scenarios.
Develop detailed test cases and identify or prepare required test data for execution.
Execute test cases, document results, and log defects with clarity and accuracy.
Provide regular reporting on test case development, progress, execution status, and defect trends.
Maintain and enhance the testing suite, including regression tests, to improve coverage and ensure continuous quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
2–6 years of experience in software testing, QA analysis, or test engineering.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Hands-on experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into testable scenarios.
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest) and defect tracking systems.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred / Good to Have
Experience with regression testing strategies and automation exposure.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and ceremonies.
Knowledge of financial services, transaction processing, or domain-specific workflows.
Exposure to query writing (SQL) for data validation.
