Salary: $99,916 - $110,844 / year
Role & seniority: Test & Integration Engineer (mid-level, eligible with 2+ years experience or Master’s with 6 months).
Stack/tools: Python (test scripting), Linux (Shell, scripting), C/C++ (plus), MATLAB/NumPy (plus), RTI DDS/QoS (plus), Wireshark/networking tools, general software/firmware/hardware integration.
Develop and integrate software, firmware, and hardware for the AN/SPY-6 AMDR radar as part of a cross-functional team.
Design, develop, and execute system tests on a complex radar system; identify, document, and track issues; propose corrective actions.
Communicate issues and impacts clearly; collaborate with teammates; potentially advance automation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 2+ years’ relevant experience (or Master’s with 6 months).
Coding experience and familiarity with test strategies, debugging, and scripting.
U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain); Agile experience preferred.
System test experience; strong communication skills; experience with Linux, Linux scripting; networking tools (e.g., Wireshark); C/C++ experience; MATLAB/NumPy; automation concepts; RTI DDS and QoS familiarity.
Location & work type: On-site in Manassas, VA; potential flexible 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off; U.S. government security clearance required.
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Must have experience coding experiece.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
