We are looking for a AI and Digital Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in quality assurance, test automation, and AI/ML systems—particularly in Generative AI (GenAI) applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of AI-driven digital products and solutions. This role combines technical quality engineering expertise with project coordination to support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of GenAI applications.
Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases for GenAI models, APIs, and digital platforms. Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, bias, fairness, robustness, and compliance with ethical standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML engineers, software developers, and product managers) to identify and resolve quality issues. Act as a liaison between AI development teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on standards, metrics, and timelines. Coordinate testing schedules, resource allocation, and defect management, facilitating quality review meetings and reporting.
Between 3 - 8 years of proven experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance roles, ideally working with AI/ML products Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies, machine learning models, and natural language processing Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Familiarity with AI/ML testing frameworks (e.g. Promptfoo, LangSmith, TruLens etc) is a plus. Knowledge of data validation, model evaluation, and bias/fairness testing. Experience with Agile methodologies and project coordination. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills (the ability to coordinate across diverse technical and business teams) Ideally ISTQB certified or having an in-depth understanding of testing methodologies. Able to work on projects, write formal documents and work independently. Good interpersonal skills and an analytical mindset Willing to travel abroad (10%). Fluency in written and spoken Dutch or French + English is a must.
