Job Title: Test Automation Engineer ServiceNow (3+ Years)

Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (3+ years experience) with strong

expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and hands-on experience in

Selenium or Playwright. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining

automated test suites, ensuring high quality of ServiceNow applications, and

collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes. The role requires

strong automation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to contribute to test framework

enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Create modular, reusable, and scalable ATF test cases aligned to customer business

processes.

Ensure full coverage across form tests, server/client scripts, UI policies, business rules, workflow

actions, Flow Designer, ACLs, and integrations where possible.

Perform automated testing in Portal, Catalog UI, and custom scoped applications.

Execute automated test suites and maintain test design documentation (test plans, execution

reports, traceability matrices, and findings).

Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams during sprint cycles to integrate ATF test

coverage.

Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium or Playwright

Assist in defect identification, tracking, and closure.

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, UAT, and exploratory

testing

Required Skills Experience

3+ years of overall ServiceNow development and functional testing experience

Strong hands-on expertise with Automated Test Framework (ATF) across multiple

implementations

Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver with TestNG / Java or PlayWright

Solid experience in ServiceNow test automation across core modules (UI, scripting,

workflows, integrations)

Proficiency in Java / JavaScript / TypeScript and test frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / NUnit)

Proficiency with VCS like Git, build tools like Maven/Gradle

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA)

Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments

Experience with defect reporting and test execution status reporting

Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills
