Brief Summary We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead product reliability assurance for electronic products in an EMS environment. The role involves executing HALT/HASS programs, driving EVT/DVT/PVT validation cycles, conducting failure analysis, and ensuring robust metrology and cosmetic quality controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth in reliability methodologies, environmental testing, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to enhance product robustness and quality. What You’ll Do Lead reliability assurance activities across EVT, DVT, and PVT phases for new products. Develop and execute HALT/HASS programs to identify early design and process weaknesses. Plan and coordinate environmental and stress tests (thermal, vibration, shock, humidity) with internal and external labs. Perform failure analysis (root cause, FMEA) and drive corrective actions with design and manufacturing teams. Create and maintain reliability test plans, procedures, acceptance criteria, and documentation. Analyze test data using statistical methods to identify trends and failure mechanisms. Drive continuous improvements in reliability processes, methodologies, and product robustness. Lead PFMEA activities to identify process risks and integrate mitigation into production workflows. Ensure strong metrology, calibration systems, and cosmetic inspection standards for product dimensional and aesthetic quality. Desired Skills Strong knowledge of HALT/HASS and reliability engineering methodologies. Experience with EVT/DVT/PVT validation stages and electronics product qualification processes. Proficiency in failure analysis tools (root cause analysis, FMEA) and statistical reliability techniques. Hands-on experience with environmental test equipment (thermal chambers, vibration, shock, humidity). Proficiency with data acquisition tools, oscilloscopes, and reliability software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Ability to develop or work with automated test scripts for reliability test execution and data capture. Working knowledge of metrology, calibration methods, and cosmetic inspection criteria. Added Advantage to the Role Comfortable working in laboratory/testing environments and handling test hardware/equipment. Flexibility to coordinate with external labs and support extended hours during critical validation phases.
