Role & seniority: Device Testing, Contract; mid-level (2–3 years) with hands-on testing responsibilities
Location & work type: Scarborough, ON; Hybrid; 12+ month contract; travel to Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal, Niagara as required
Stack/tools: 3G/LTE/5G NSA/SA device and protocol testing; VoLTE/VoWiFi; LTE CA; eSIM; QxDM and Shannon device logging; field drive and lab testing on OEM devices; Wireshark; R&S and Anritsu equipment (plus ROAM and audio testing is a plus)
Conduct field, drive, and application testing for various OEM smartphones/data devices across 5G configurations and roaming scenarios
Perform log analysis, debugging of UE issues, and data throughput/call performance testing
Travel to test locations (1–5 days per engagement) and coordinate with multiple OEMs/carriers to meet deadlines
2–3 years in 3G/LTE/5G testing (NSA/SA), VoLTE/VoWiFi, eSIM
QxDM and Shannon logging expertise; log analysis and debugging UE issues
Field and lab testing experience; data throughput and call performance testing
Experience with Google/Samsung/Android devices; Wireshark or similar network capture tools
Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel
Experience with R&S and Anritsu equipment; ROAM and audio testing in lab
Roaming field testing with Canadian carriers
Experience coordinating with multiple OEMs/carriers; strong interpersonal skills
