Role & seniority: Junior Vehicle Test Operator – Software Validation
Stack/tools: CAN tools (Vehicle Spy, CANalyzer), onboard data logging systems, vehicle software flashing tools, instrumentation, bug tracking (Jira)
Execute defined test routes and driving scenarios to validate software functionality
Prepare vehicles (software flashing, configuration, instrumentation), operate in controlled environments and on-road/test tracks; log data
Provide detailed feedback, assist root-cause investigations, and support updates/troubleshooting with engineers
0–2 years in vehicle testing, validation, or development shop support
Comfortable driving development vehicles and following test procedures
Familiarity with automotive systems, basic diagnostics (OBD, CAN)
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow structured test plans

Valid driver’s license, clean record, proving ground driver training
Willingness to travel to remote test sites (cold weather/high altitude)

You’ll play a hands-on role in preparing test vehicles, executing structured driving routes, logging data, and assisting engineers in verifying software features across multiple domains such as chassis, body, and thermal systems. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working directly with engineering teams, embedded software, and development vehicles while contributing to real-world testing of advanced vehicle technologies.
