Role & seniority: Hands-on Vehicle Test Engineer (mid to senior level), contract/consultant setup via ALTEN
Stack/tools: Vehicle test setup; EMS/AMS software installation and flashing; diagnostic systems; CAN logging tools; breakout boxes; measurement equipment; Vector CANoe and/or CANalyzer
Prepare/configure test vehicles per test tickets; install/verify EMS/AMS software
Execute test cases, document results, and report deviations; perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Participate in daily planning and cross-functional coordination
Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience
Experience with vehicle testing, diagnostics, and CAN-based systems
Proficiency with CAN tools (Vector CANoe and/or CANalyzer)
Knowledge of EMS and/or AMS systems
Structured, safety-focused, quality-oriented mindset
C driver’s license
Fluency in English
Experience working onsite in automotive testing environments
Bus driver’s license
Basic knowledge of Swedish

We are looking for a hands-on Vehicle Test Engineer to support vehicle-level testing and software validation within EMS and AMS domains. You will work close to real vehicles in a structured, safety-focused, and quality-driven environment.
