Job description

We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer with strong experience in backend and API automation, who can effectively leverage AI tools as a user (not a creator) to enhance QA processes. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to use prompt engineering techniques to improve test design, validation strategies, and overall quality assurance efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience building automated test suites for APIs and backend services.

Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman/Newman, REST Assured. Experience testing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures. Solid experience validating data pipelines, ETL workflows, or event-streaming systems. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data validation. Experience using AI tools to enhance QA processes, with practical understanding of prompt engineering techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. English B2+ - C1
