Full Description

AuxoAI is seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with a strong foundation in test automation, data validation, and technical testing. This is a non-traditional QA role focused on quality engineering rather than manual testing. The role requires hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, SQL-driven data testing, and Python-based scripting, along with the ability to understand complex business and system workflows. The QA Engineer will work closely with engineering, data, and business teams to ensure end-to-end quality across applications, integrations, and data platforms, contributing to scalable and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress (or equivalent).
· Implement automation-first testing approaches across UI, API, and backend layers. Actively contribute to shift-left testing practices, participating early in design and requirement discussions.
· Execute and maintain regression test suites to ensure consistent quality across releases.
· Perform data validation and reconciliation testing across databases, data pipelines, and reporting layers.
· Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
· Validate ETL / ELT processes, data transformations, and business rules in data-centric applications.
· Identify data quality issues early and collaborate with engineering teams for root-cause analysis and resolution.
· Execute functional and integration testing for applications and system interfaces.
· Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
· Document test cases, test results, and defects with high clarity and traceability.
· Contribute ideas toward automation enhancements and testing accelerators, including exposure to AI-assisted testing approaches.

Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. · 5–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing, with a strong focus on automation. · Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. · Working knowledge of Python for test automation, scripting, and utilities. · Strong expertise in SQL with proven experience in data validation and data quality testing. · Experience testing data-driven applications, integrations, or data platforms. · Exposure to ERP systems, preferably Oracle ERP, is a strong plus. · Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments is preferred. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. · Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. · Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently on complex testing tasks.
