Full Description

Role: Data QA Engineer Location – Bangalore Mode- hybrid

Exp: 5+ yrs Immediate Joiners Only

Conduct manual and automated testing of data systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.

Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations, business logic, and data models. Identify, analyze, and address data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data validation. Conduct regression testing and performance testing as required.

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into test requirements. Participate in design and code reviews.

Develop and maintain test automation scripts to streamline data quality assurance processes. Contribute to the development and improvement of automation tools and frameworks.

Document and track issues and defects, evaluate their impact, and proactively drive resolutions. Generate test reports and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Ensure data quality standards and best practices are followed across teams. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging quality assurance technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data quality assurance, data analysis, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Proven experience in manual and/or automated testing methodologies.
Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Jenkins, JIRA, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
