Role & seniority: Experienced Test Engineer (senior/mid-level capable of independent work)
Stack / tools: C# test automation; Cypress for UI tests; SpecFlow (BDD - Given-When-Then); Agile QA practices
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests in C#
Implement and execute UI tests with Cypress; create/maintain SpecFlow test cases
Collaborate with the project team, ensure new features are covered by automated tests; perform test execution, analysis, debugging, and documentation; contribute to test-automation framework improvements
Strong C# development and test automation background
Hands-on Cypress UI testing experience
Knowledge of SpecFlow (or willingness to work with BDD) and QA/automation in an software team

The position focuses on automating tests for new features and ensuring high-quality releases while the internal engineer is absent. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests using C# Implement and execute UI tests with Cypress Create and maintain SpecFlow test cases based on the Given-When-Then BDD approach Collaborate closely with the project team during feature development Ensure new features are covered by automated tests Perform test execution, analysis, debugging, and documentation Contribute to continuous improvement of the test automation framework and processes Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in C# development and test automation Hands-on experience with Cypress UI testing Solid knowledge of SpecFlow (nice to have) and BDD workflows Experience working in software engineering or QA automation roles Structured, analytical, and quality-focused mindset Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Familiarity with agile development methodologies Understanding of software architecture and test strategies
